Turf Management

Turfgrasses benefit from high potassium, low chloride fertilization. Fertilizing with sulfate of potash promotes stress resistance in quality turfgrasses favored by golf courses, parks, and other carefully landscaped, high-traffic grounds.

Other potassium sources are high in salt and increase the risk of turf burn.

Salt Index per Unit Potassium

Sulfate of Potash (SOP) 0.85
Muriate of Potash (MOP) 1.93
Potassium Nitrate (KNO3) 1.58
Potassium Magnesium Sulfate (SPM) 1.97

GSLM's SOP has the lowest salt index of major potassium sources and is very low in chloride, providing turfgrass the needed potassium to flourish without the risk of turf burn.

Professional turfgrass managers using sulfate of potash report a higher resistance to drought, better tolerance to cold and wear, stronger roots, and greater recovery rates on their turfgrass.

Turf Management Products

GSLM has developed uniform grades of particle sizes to match the professional turf industry's specific needs.
