| Growing at the Great Salt Lake |
|
Great Salt Lake Minerals is the primary North American producer of sulfate of potash, a vital nutrient for growing fruits, vegetables, turf, and other high-value crops. We produce more than 400,000 tons per year using all-natural solar evaporation and other organic-approved processes. To help meet the needs of farmers now and in the future, we are seeking to expand our sulfate of potash production through additional solar evaporation ponds. We have leased additional acreage on the Great Salt Lake from the state of Utah, and, once we receive permits to develop new solar ponds, expansion will occur as demand dictates.
